Preparations begin for next year’s financial budget, says Secreatary Finance

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has started preparations for the next financial year’s budget of the province.
This was informed by the Secretary Finance, Imran Zarkoon to media here on Saturday.
He informed that Balochistan is getting it’s share from the federal government on regular basis under the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award.
However, the PPL has not given Rs. 60 billion in the head of Sui gas royalty yet.
While on the other hand, federal government has to pay Rs. 39 billion on account of the solarization of agricultural tube wells.
He mentioned that surely there are financial issues being confronted by the provincial government because of non-payment of Rs. 100 billion.
