Traditional “Kodi Kodi” Game Competition Held at Annual Urs of Sufi Saint Jaman Shah Jati in Tando Adam
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A traditional “Kodi Kodi” game competition was held at Syed City during the final Dhamal of the annual Urs celebrations of the renowned Sufi saint Jaman Shah Jati. The event was graced by the presence of the shrine’s custodians, Syed Mohsin Ali Shah and Syed Ismail Shah, who received a warm welcome from the players and were honored with floral garlands.
The competition featured a match between Saleem Junejo’s team and Farzand Punjabi’s team, where Saleem Junejo’s team emerged victorious. A large number of spectators from the city gathered at the ground to witness the thrilling contest.
Several players, including Farzand Punjabi, Jamalo Khan, Owais Brohi, Murtaza Sanjrani, Sabir Thehim Bijli, Ghulam Rasool Junejo, Mujahid Chhango, Ghulam Nabi Junejo, and Ayaz Khaskheli, delivered outstanding performances and received much appreciation. The best-performing players were also rewarded with cash prizes for their exceptional skills.
