Secretaries of various Depts visit centers: Annual matric exams begin amid tough measures for prevention of cheating
QUETTA: While the annual examinations of Matriculation started all over the province on Tuesday, the provincial government has taken tough measures for prevention of cheating in the examinations.
On directives of the Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the administrative secretaries of different provincial government departments paid surprise visits to different examination centers established in different districts.
The Secretary Public Health Engineering visited the examination centers established in Duki district while Secretary Population Welfare Department visited different centers in Killa Saifullah.
Similarly, the Secretary Energy and Secretary Communications and Works visited the examination centers established in Killa Saifullah and Naseerabad respectively.
Meanwhile, the Secretary Education, Saleh Muhammad Nasar suspended the examination staff found absent from duties in different sectors.
He asserted that there is no room of cheating in the examinations.
He said that tough departmental action is being taken against the staff being found absent from their duties in examinations.
However, alternate staff has been deputed in place of the staff placed under suspension, he maintained.
He said that students are builders of future and as such no compromise would be made on the same.
