Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Witnesses Signing of MoU to Promote Tourism and Hospitality
Peshawar, Feb 13, A historic agreement was signed between the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Red Crescent Association and the College of Tourism and Hotel Management at the Governor’s House in Peshawar. The ceremony was attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi as the guest of honor.
The agreement aims to establish an institution in Swat that will offer technical courses in tourism and hospitality to young people. These courses will be conducted in collaboration with NewTech.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi congratulated the administrations of NewTech, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Red Crescent Association, and the College of Tourism and Hotel Management on the signing of the agreement. He termed the agreement a significant step towards promoting tourism and hospitality in the province, which aligns with the mission of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to empower women and engage youth.
The ceremony was also attended by Chairperson of NewTech Gulmeena Bilal, Chairman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Red Crescent Association Habib Ur Rehman Orakzai, and Principal of the College of Tourism and Hotel Management Zahoor Ahmed, among others.
