Mardan: Feb 14. An emergency meeting of the Association of Pathwarians and Law Scholars(Qanoon goyan) of Mardan district was held yesterday under the chairmanship of President Sikandar Khan. The meeting was attended by Vice President Irfan Ali Afridi, General Secretary Shahab Khan, other cabinet members and members in large numbers. In the meeting, Maqsood Steno, Senior Civil Judge Adman, Tehsildar Gahri Kapoora, was strongly condemned for verbal abuse, abusive language, and insulting behavior. It was unanimously decided that Maqsood Steno should be suspended after taking legal action/inquiry. From 13/2/2025, all the Pathwarians and Law Scholars, SDC Patwaris of the entire Mardan district will announce a complete boycott of all courts (civil courts and sessions courts) for an indefinite period and if the demands are met within a week, the scope of the boycott will be further expanded. It will be expanded to other provinces besides Mardan.
