Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam Meets CM Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan
Islamabad, Feb 14, Federal Minister for Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam met with Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan at his office. The meeting was also attended by Gilgit-Baltistan Law Minister Ghulam Muhammad and Federal Secretary for Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON Zafar Hassan.
During the meeting, Engineer Amir Muqam stated that the development of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir is the top priority of the government, as per the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. He added that affordable electricity is being provided to Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The federal minister directed the secretary of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON to resolve the issues faced by the affectees of the Basho Dam. The chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan presented various issues faced by the region during the meeting.
