Sindh Pink Games Conclude in Sanghar: Awards Distributed Among Winning Girls

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The five-day Sindh Pink Games, organized by the Sindh Sports and Youth Affairs Department across the province, concluded successfully. In this regard, the Sanghar Sports Department held the closing ceremony of the Pink Games at the Tando Adam Sports Stadium. The event was led by District Sports Officer Kainat Qamar, where various competitions, including athletics, throw ball, badminton, and table tennis, were held over five days.

Female students from several educational institutions in Tando Adam, including Government Girls Degree College, The City Higher Secondary School, Fatima Jinnah Girls High School, Bibi Aisha School, Mai Maryam School, Government Shaheed Benazir Bhutto High School, Government Girls School Makhdoom Nuh, Government Girls School Udera Abad, and Government Begum Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Girls School, participated in the games.

The closing ceremony was attended by Chairman of Tando Adam Taluka, Ghulam Murtaza Junejo, and District Education Officer, Muhammad Sarwar Rajput, as chief guests. Speaking on the occasion, the guests, including Ghulam Murtaza Junejo, Muhammad Sarwar Rajput, Kainat Qamar, and Aurangzeb Junejo, appreciated the Sindh government’s efforts to promote sports among young girls. They emphasized that such initiatives provide female students with opportunities to showcase their talents and contribute to the country’s sports sector.

They further highlighted the importance of engaging the younger generation in healthy activities to ensure their well-being. The officials also expressed their commitment to appointing female trainers for girls’ sports training in the future.

At the end of the ceremony, trophies, medals, and certificates were distributed among the winners and position holders. Additionally, District Sports Officer Kainat Qamar presented traditional Sindhi gifts, including Ajraks and souvenirs, to the guests.

The event was attended by CMO Malik Abdul Hamid, Mazhar Hussain Junejo, TEO Education Ali Bhano, education expert Mirza Ashfaq Baig, Khuda Bakhsh Jatoi, senior journalist Ashiq Hussain Sand, Madam Shakeela Baloch, as well as principals, teachers, and other dignitaries from participating schools and colleges.
