Governor to preside over ceremony: Foundation stone of Center for Excellence of BUITEMS to be laid today

QUETTA: The ceremony of foundation stone laying of the Balochistan Center for Excellence on Renewable Energy is scheduled to be held at the Governor House Quetta today (Monday).
The Governor, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail would preside over the ceremony of laying of foundation stone of Center of Excellence on Renewable Energy.
According to an official hand out issued here on Sunday, the initiative of establishment of the Balochistan Center for Excellence has been made possible due to the joint endeavours of PATRIP and BUITEMS. It is going to be an important milestone in acquiring renewable energy in the province.
The ceremony to be held at 02:00 PM today would be attended by the Consul General of Germany based in Karachi, Dr. Rudiger Lotz, Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, Professor Dr. Khalid Hafeez, Chairman of Balochistan Rural Support Programme, Malik Anwar Saleem Kasi, CEO BRSP, Dr. Tahir Rasheed and other personalities belonging to different walks of life.
According to the hand out, the remarkable partnership between Pakistan and Germany depicts joint resolve for the socio-economic development and promotion of sustainable energy in the province.
The initiative would also play vital role in leading the province to sustainable development and paving way for bright future regarding environment.
