Mardan : Feb 18. Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” Billion Tree Plus Plantation Drive” Plantation Campaign.
A plantation campaign under the Billion Tree Plus Plantation Drive was launched at Government Higher Secondary School Shah Dhand Baba, here on Tuesday. Additional Assistant Commissioner Noman Pervez launched the campaign by planting a sapling. SDFO, students and other people participated on this occasion. Additional Assistant Commissioner and other participants planted saplings on this occasion and prayed for the success of the campaign.
Additional Assistant Commissioner Noman Pervez said that better tree plantation can combat the harmful effects of climate change and tree plantation has its own importance in this regard. He said that like every year, this year too the Forest Department has made extensive arrangements for tree plantation in which the public will also be given ample opportunity to participate.
