South Waziristan: Feb 18. Rustam Bazar Wana Ahmadzai Wazir Tribes organized a large rally against the incidents of kidnapping, rioting and robbery. A large number of MPA Ajab Gul Wazir, tribal elders, scholars, political leaders and public representatives participated in this meeting. Addressing the meeting, the speakers said that four people have been abducted from Ahmadzai Wazir tribal areas in recent days, who should be recovered soon. He stressed the need for immediate and effective measures to prevent the wave of unrest. Speakers said that maintaining peace is the primary responsibility of the state, and if the state cannot maintain peace, unrest in the region will increase. He also said that the disillusionment of the patriotic tribes could be detrimental to the integrity of the country. He warned and questioned the state institutions that the tribals are the people who have always sacrificed their lives for the security of the country. If the imposed war leads to increased hatred in the tribal areas, it may pose a serious threat to the country’s survival. He said that further fragmentation in the tribal areas could lead to gains for anti-national elements, which could harm national security.
