The Central Traders Organization of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial General Secretary and Group Leader of the Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Zahir Shah, has said that he has demanded from the Saudi authorities to make Hajj and Umrah tax-free by relaxing simple rules and other SOPs regarding the health of Umrah pilgrims and increasing the Hajj quota. He expressed these views while talking to the media on the occasion of congratulating Asad Ali Shah and Shaukat Ali Shah, brothers of Haji Gul Plaza President Haji Farooq Shah, on their Umrah success, here on Tuesday.On this occasion, the General Secretary of the Traders Organization of Mardan District Waqar Ali Bacha, Mardan Chamber of Commerce Vice President Haji Waheed Gul, Senior Vice President Shah Ji, Fazal Haq were also present. Zahir Shah said that Pakistan is at the top among the countries performing Umrah and Hajj every year, further relaxation should be made in the Hajj and Umrah policy. He appealed to Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif and Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain and said that Pakistan’s quota in Hajj 2026 should be increased and Make a regular request to ensure this. He further said that the treatment of Muslims’ diseases is in Haramain Sharifain. The Muslim Ummah is waiting for the presence of the Kaaba to be present in the court of Allah Almighty and seek forgiveness for sins. The government should make it tax-free for playing trades.
