Mardan : Feb 20. Commissioner Mardan Division Nisar Ahmed has said that solving public problems is one of the basic duties of the administration. All necessary steps will be taken to solve the problems faced by the people related to various government departments in Tehsil Rustam. He was talking to a representative delegation of Tehsil Rustam Loya Jirga in his office, here on Thursday .The jirga included Sajjad Syed Bacha, Himmat Ali and Dildar Khan, as well as elders of the area. The Loya Jirga members apprised Commissioner Mardan of the problems related to hospitals and schools in the area, including prolonged power outages, inflation, transport-related problems, drugs, LPG gas prices, SDC-related problems, and the repair of Mardan Rustam Road. Commissioner Mardan Division Nisar Ahmed assured to take steps to resolve the problems raised by the jirga. He said that the matter of appointment of judicial officers in the area will be brought to the notice of the concerned authorities. He said that instructions will be issued to PESCO officials and administrative officers to reduce the duration of electricity load shedding in the area, however, the public should also cooperate in preventing electricity theft and Kanda culture. Commissioner Mardan directed the concerned authorities to display official rates of all revenue documents including transfers and personal income tax in all SDCs including Rustam at prominent places. The jirga members thanked Commissioner Mardan for taking interest in resolving their problems.
