Peshawar: Feb 21. Food Minister Zahir Shah Toru Meets Local Government Minister Arshad Ayub, Discusses Mardan Development Authority and TMA Mardan Affairs

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food Zahir Shah Toru, met with the Minister for Local Government, Elections, and Rural Development, Arshad Ayub, in Peshawar, on Friday. The meeting focused on key issues related to the Mardan Development Authority and Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Mardan.

Secretary Local Government Dr. Anber Ali, along with other officials, was also participated . Various matters concerning the development of Mardan, municipal challenges, and the improvement of urban facilities were discussed in detail.

During the meeting, Minister Zahir Shah Toru emphasized the need for expediting development projects at the district level to ensure the timely provision of essential civic amenities to the people of Mardan.

Minister Arshad Ayub provided insights into the ongoing development projects under the Mardan Development Authority and TMA Mardan. The minister directed the concerned authorities to accelerate and ensure the completion of these projects soon. Toru further stated that the provincial government is taking concrete steps to enhance urban development and improve the efficiency of local government institutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both ministers reiterated the commitment of the provincial government to utilizing all available resources to ensure the timely completion of public welfare projects across the province.
