Salahuddin Mengal dies in Quetta
QUETTA: The senior lawyer and former Advocate General of Balochistan, Salahuddin Mengal Advocate passed away after protracted illness in Quetta on Friday morning.
Salahuddin Mengal was not feeling well for some time, and thus he died in wee hours of Friday, said the family sources.
Later, he was laid to rest in a local graveyard in Sariab road the same afternoon.
He was the elder brother of Judge of High Court, Mr. Justice Najmuddin Mengal, Muslahiddin Mengal.
It may be mentioned here that Salahuddin Mengal had also served as Chairman Brahvi Academy and Principal University Law College Quetta.
Meanwhile, funeral prayer was offered at the Jamia Masjid, Irrigation Department and laid to rest in the local graveyard.
The funeral prayer and burial was attended by the senior lawyers, office bearers of different bar associations and councils besides people belonging to different walks of life.
