Secretary C&W directs to complete all road sector projects within approved timeline

QUETTA: The Secretary Communications and Works (C&W) Department, Lal Jan Jaffar has directed the concerned officials to complete all the road sector projects within the approved timeline.
The Secretary C&W was presiding over meeting on progress of the road sector projects under the Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Projects here on Friday.
The Project Coordinator of Socio-Economic Development Projects, Shahzad Hasan Jaffar, Chief Engineer Roads, Quetta and Khuzdar and other concerned high ups participated in the meeting.
The progress of all projects of road sector were reviewed in detail during the course of meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary C&W stressed that it should be top priority to complete all the projects by the end of current financial year.
He said that the backward areas of Balochistan would be put on path of development and prosperity with completion of road sector projects.
He said that the people of remote areas would benefit once their areas would be connected with the cities.
The improvement of road infrastructure and timely completion of development projects would also bring prosperity in the remote areas, he maintained.
