Endoscopy workshop held by SMBBMU in Larkana

LARKANA : A two-day endoscopy workshop organized by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University and Chandka Medical College in Larkana with the support of Pakistan Society of Hepatology Gastroenterology was held at the Gastroenterology Department of Chandka Teaching Hospital. Renowned professor Dr. Anwar Khan, Head of Jinnah Hospital Lahore Prof. Shahid Sarwar, Kashif Malik of Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore also participated and more than 200 post-graduates, general physicians, general practitioner doctors and students operated on 20 patients suffering from stomach, duodenal and large intestine diseases and learned about the complications and the use of basic and modern methods in treatment. Benazir Bhutto Medical University Head of Gastroenterology Department Professor Dr. Ali Haider Baloch said that in the two-day endoscopy scientific workshop and symposium, more than 200 doctors were taught by local and foreign expert doctors in which the best information about gastroenterology and gastrointestinal diseases was given.
