Skills Development Courses Conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar: Feb 23. On the special directives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour, Fazal Shakur Khan, the Workers Welfare Board KP, in collaboration with the National Vocational Training Commission (NAVTTC), conducted tests at eight stations across seven districts for various skills development courses. To ensure transparency in the selection process, a testing agency was engaged to conduct the examination. Through the e-testing system, candidates were given the opportunity to participate in the test at eight technical institutions of the Workers Welfare Board. The tests were conducted in the technical institutions of Peshawar, Haripur, Tank, Nowshera, Swat, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan. Successful candidates will be shortlisted and enrolled in different skills development courses, where they will not only receive training but also a monthly stipend.
Under the NAVTTC projects, the shortlisted candidates will undergo training programs of three to six months in various fields, including Internet of Things (IoT) System Development & Application, Graphic Designing, Office Management, E-Commerce, and General Electrician. Upon completion of the training, candidates will be awarded certificates, making them eligible for skilled labour opportunities at the international level. This initiative will help the candidates secure employment abroad with ease.
