No compromise on provision of healthcare facilities, absentee doctors intolerable, says Bakht Kakar

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Health, Bakht Muhammad Kakar has stated that no compromise would be made on provision of healthcare facilities in the province. He said that absentee doctors would also not be tolerated.
The Minister Health was speaking on occasion of the visit of District Headquarter Hospital Killa Saifullah on Monday.
Also present on the occasion were Assistant Commissioner Syed Zafar Kalim, Dr Aminullah and other officers.
Bakht Muhammad Kakar visited different sections of the Hospital and expressed dissatisfaction over their non-functionality.
He said that non-functioning of the hospital wouldn’t be tolerated.
He announced that the biometric system would be installed in the hospital.
The attendance of doctors and other medical staff would be checked on daily basis, he added.
The Minister Health directed to Assistant Commissioner to send him the report on daily basis after visiting hospital.
Meanwhile, speaking to the media persons, Bakht Muhammad Kakar said that doctors and other staff would be posted soon in the hospital.
He also said that the provincial government would provide resources for provision of the healthcare facilities to people.
He also announced that the Health Card facility would be introduced in the District Hospital. He said that the patients would be treated under the Health Card facility.
