The lawyers of the District Bar Dera and the High Court Bar Dera have gone on strike against the kidnapping of PPP Member of National Assembly Sardar Fatehullah Miankhel

Dera Ismail Khan: Feb 25. The lawyers of the District Bar Dera and the High Court Bar Dera have gone on strike against the kidnapping of PPP Member of National Assembly Sardar Fatehullah Miankhel, former Member of National Assembly Sardar Umar Farooq Khan Miankhel, late former Provincial Minister for Transport Sardar Sanaullah Khan Miankhel, brother of Hidayatullah Khan Miankhel and uncle of Member of Provincial Assembly from Kulachi Sardar Ehsanullah Khan Miankhel, Divisional President of Pakistan Peoples Party and candidate for the presidency of District Bar Association Dera Sardar Qaizar Khan Miankhel. No lawyer appeared in court. Similarly, lawyers of Tank, Lakki Marwat and Bannu districts also boycotted the court. The lawyers of the District Bar Dera and the High Court Bar Dera led by Malik Hidayatullah Malana Advocate, Sardar Hashmat Nawaz Saduzai Advocate, Rana Nadeem Advocate, Akhtar Saeed Advocate, Umair Habib Sial Advocate and others took out a large protest procession from the District Bar which took different routes to the kidnapped Sardar. The protest turned into a demonstration in front of Qaizar Khan Miankhel’s residence. In addition to the leaders of the lawyers, the demonstration was addressed by People’s Party Member of National Assembly Sardar Fatehullah Khan Miankhel and Member of Provincial Assembly Sardar Ehsanullah Khan Miankhel. They said that the kidnapping of Sardar Qaizar Khan Miankhel is a moment of concern for the government, there is a question mark on the security system. He was kidnapped at a time when our family had gone there regarding the death of a young man. On our return, another big tragedy happened to us. Enemies are also forgotten on this occasion of sorrow, but this kind of behavior towards a harmless and people-friendly person like Sardar Qaizar Khan Miankhel is very sad. We are grateful to the lawyers’ community for expressing solidarity with our family. PML-N District President Rehan Malik Advocate has said in his statement that we strongly condemn the kidnapping of Sardar Qaizar Khan Miankhel. The government agencies should immediately rescue him. We will take action in this regard. We are ready for any kind of protest.
