Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chairs Briefing on Food Safety and Halal Food Authority

Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahab Ali Shah, chaired a briefing on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority, where he was apprised of the authority’s key activities, achievements, and operational framework.

During the session, the Director General of the Halal Food Authority presented an overview of the authority’s Ramzan Action Plan, outlining measures to ensure the availability of safe, halal, and quality food in the markets during the holy month of Ramzan.

Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah directed the Food Authority to work in close coordination with district administrations for the effective implementation of the Ramzan Action Plan. He emphasized that these efforts aim to provide maximum relief to the public by ensuring the availability of safe and hygienic food during Ramzan.
