Book Launch Ceremony of “Pakistan ke Tareekhi Qilay” Held at Tando Adam Press Club
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A prestigious book launch ceremony for “Pakistan ke Tareekhi Qilay” by Anwar Sindhu was organized by the Progressive Writers’ Association Pakistan at Tando Adam Press Club. The event was presided over by Mian Muhammad Nazim, while the chief guest was the Chairman of the Municipality, Chacha Ghulam Murtaza Junejo.
The event was attended by prominent literary figures, book lovers, and journalists, including event organizer Saadat Noor Khan, former presidents of the Press Club Imdad Rahi, Umar Farooq Qureshi, and Waseem Farooqi. The ceremony was gracefully hosted by Dr. Nasir Qureshi, who conducted the proceedings in a scholarly and eloquent manner.
Speakers at the event, including Saadat Noor Khan, Professor Ahmad Bilal Ghouri, Professor Ghulam Mustafa Tabassum, Malik Irshad Ali, Dr. Abdul Hameed Ghouri, Rafiq Bajoro, and Kamran Ishrat, extensively discussed the book’s significance. They highlighted that in today’s fast-paced world, individuals who celebrate the achievements of others still exist, and this event was a testament to that spirit.
They further praised Anwar Sindhu’s contribution, stating that his book is the first of its kind in Pakistan to comprehensively document the country’s historical forts. Once the book reaches libraries and institutions, it will bring recognition to Tando Adam on a national level. The speakers emphasized the need for government support to encourage such literary efforts.
