Open Court Held in Sanghar to Address Public Grievances
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) On the special directives of the Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan, Ijaz Ahmed Qureshi, an open court was held at the District Council Hall Sanghar by Associate Advisor Engineer Muhammad Arif from the Regional Office Mirpurkhas. The session aimed to address public complaints against various federal departments, including HESCO, Sui Southern Gas, NADRA, and the Benazir Income Support Program.

During the session, several complaints were registered, some of which were resolved immediately, while others required further action. Relevant officers and complainants were summoned to the office for further proceedings. Addressing the gathering, Associate Advisor Muhammad Arif emphasized that the primary objective of such sessions is to resolve public grievances. He encouraged citizens to submit their complaints on plain paper for redressal.
He assured attendees that complaints regarding gas load shedding and overbilling would be addressed by summoning regional Sui Gas officials. Additionally, in response to human rights issues highlighted by Rana Firdous Zafar from the Human Rights Protection and Social Justice organization, he pledged to take necessary action.
The open court was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Moula Dad, HESCO Sanghar RO Officer Sarmad Sultan, DSP Sanghar Zahid Ahmed, FIA officers from Shaheed Benazirabad region, NADRA Incharge Ali Raza, Deputy Director of the Benazir Income Support Program Mir Shakeel Talpur, along with officials from various departments and a large number of citizens.
