Sajawal Police Crack Down on Crime, Narcotics, and Social Evils
Sajawal, Feb. 27, : The Sajawal police, under the leadership of SSP Dr. Abdul Khaliq Pirzada, have launched a zero-tolerance campaign against crime, narcotics, and social evils across the district.
In a successful operation, SHO Ladoun Ghulam Hyder Brohi and his team raided a local wine distillery, seizing 150 liters of raw, untreated liquor and 15 liters of refined, treated liquor. The suspect, Ali Akbar Chawro, was taken into custody ¹.
Additionally, seven gutka sellers were arrested, and 6,080 gutka packets were confiscated. Cases have been registered against the suspects.
Other notable operations include the arrest of Abdul Rashid Memon, a gutka seller, by SHO Sajawal Ali Akbar Channa during a patrol near Ghootaru Mori. SHO Chuhar Jamali, Waheed Murad Chandio, also conducted two separate operations against gutka sellers during their patrol.
These efforts demonstrate the Sajawal police’s commitment to eradicating crime and social evils from the district.
