Sindh Cabinet Approves Establishment of Dow Science Foundation, Other Key Projects
Karachi. Feb. 27. In a significant development, the Sindh cabinet has approved the establishment of the Dow Science Foundation under the management of Dow Medical University. This decision was made during a cabinet meeting presided over by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
Other key projects approved by the cabinet include:
– Handing over of Mehr Polytechnic Institute to Ziauddin
– Purchase of double-decker buses and additional electric buses
– Automation of Anti-Narcotics records
– Free distribution of pink scooters to women
– Laying of transmission lines for the Karachi Water and Sewerage Project
– Registration of double-cabin vehicles in a single category
– Revision of costs for the K-IV project, including the expansion of the Clifton Water Pumping Station and Keenjhar Lake
Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon briefed the media on the cabinet decisions, highlighting the significance of the Dow Science Foundation in promoting scientific research and education in the province.
