Enrolment Campaign Launched for Punjab’s First State-of-the-Art ECE Project

Punjab Education Minister launched the campaign by enrolling his son, Yousuf

 

Lahore, February 28– Punjab’s Education Minister, Rana Sikandar Hayat, has officially launched the enrolment campaign for first state-of-the-art Early Childhood Education (ECE) project. To mark the occasion, the minister personally enrolled his son, Rana Muhammad Yusuf Hayat, as the first student at the Nawaz Sharif Center of Excellence for Early Childhood Education, located within the Children’s Library.

Minister Education stated that this institution will be Punjab’s first internationally recognised government school for Early Childhood Education, setting a new standard in the public sector. “This model project will be unique in its quality and approach. By enrolling my own son, I am demonstrating my complete trust in the Nawaz Sharif Center of Excellence. When my child studies here, it will reinforce public confidence in this institution,” he added.

The enrolment drive for Early Childhood Education will continue until April 3. The minister emphasized that the curriculum at the Nawaz Sharif Center of Excellence has been designed to meet modern educational requirements. He also reaffirmed his commitment to transforming this institution into a hub of digital innovation and excellence. “We aim to establish similar centers of excellence for Early Childhood Education at both district and tehsil levels across Punjab,” he announced.

Rana Sikandar Hayat further highlighted that this educational initiative will include model classrooms, a media room, a swimming pool, an art and craft room, and other state-of-the-art facilities. “Students will have access to international-level academic and extracurricular opportunities,” he said. The project is designed to promote play-based learning, ensuring an engaging and child-friendly educational experience.
