Ghalanai. Feb 28. Grand operation against drug smugglers and possession mafia in Mohmand district, 04 drug peddlers arrested, transferred to Central Jail Mardan.
On the instructions of DPO Mohmand Ikramullah Khan (PSP), a strict crackdown is underway against criminal elements across the district. The cordon against drug peddlers, drug dealers, ice smugglers and possession mafia has been further tightened.
DSP Circle Police Station Yekka Ghund Dilfraz Khan led by SHO Qasim Jan along with the police conducted a successful operation and arrested 04 drug peddlers and transferred them to Central Jail Mardan under 3MPO. Special lists have also been prepared for more arrests, and more strict actions are expected in the coming days.
DPO Mohmand made it clear that there is no place for drug peddlers in the district. Either they should give up this heinous business or leave the district. The district police is utilizing all available resources to ensure the safety of the public and has been directed to further intensify operations at the police station level on a daily basis.
The public is also appealed to cooperate with the police in eliminating crime and report suspicious activities to the concerned authorities immediately.
