Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Regional Information Secretary Peshawar Region Engineer Adil Nawaz has said that a systematic conspiracy to defame PTI and its provincial ministers is underway. False allegations, heinous conspiracies and high-handed tactics are being used to weaken the party. But like in the past, these nefarious attempts will once again fail. He expressed these views during a press conference at Mardan Press Club, here on Sunday. On this occasion, the party’s District General Secretary Ayaz Safi, Senior Vice President Haroon Khan, Tehsil Mardan President Ilyas Toro, General Secretary Haji Bakshad and Deputy General Secretary Lakhkar Khan, in addition to PTI workers, were present. Engineer Adil Nawaz said that in PTI, the workers themselves hold ministers accountable and till date no minister has been proven guilty of corruption. Provincial Minister Zahir Shah Toro is making reforms to bring transparency in the food department, but an attempt is being made to damage his reputation by making baseless allegations against him. He said that on the false allegations of May 9, an attempt was made to suppress the party leadership, elders and women workers by putting them in jail, but we will go to any extent and take every legal path to release the founder of PTI. He said that PTI is the largest party in the country and every possible attempt to break the leadership and weaken the workers will prove fruitless. He alleged that conspiratorial elements are running a systematic propaganda campaign against the party by investing crores of rupees, but despite all these difficulties and conspiracies, PTI will emerge victorious. He strongly condemned the suicide attack in Akora Khattak and prayed for the forgiveness of the martyrs.
