QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that Quetta, being the provincial capital and home to almost half of population of the province, deserves more judicious distribution of all the government vacancies and especially in the seats of medical and engineering.
The Governor said that he has devoted him for resolving the issues and hardships being faced by the people of Quetta and Zhob, during last around four years of practical politics.
He assigned the responsibility of involving all citizens, civil society and media activists to the Member Provincial Assembly Zarak Khan Mandokhail for resolving the issues of common men.
He said that it is responsibility of the government to bring improvement in the basic infrastructure of Quetta especially the condition of roads, situation of health and cleanliness besides improving the traffic and sewerage system.
The Governor was speaking to a delegation who called on him under leadership of President of Quetta Unity Forum, Mir Muhammad Aslam Rind here at the Governor House on Monday.
The Governor issued directives to the high ups of Sui Southern Gas Company and WAPDA to take prompt steps for ending the gas and electricity load shedding.
He said that it is his endeavor to ensure operation of trains from Quetta to Lahore and Quetta to Karachi on daily basis.
He urged the members of delegation to form public service committees in different areas of Quetta city under leadership of Zarak Mandokhail so as to resolve public issues at their doorstep.
