LARKANA: First in the history of Larkana district, in the eye department of Larkana, with the support of social organization Vision for Education Foundation Pakistan and SMBBM University, eye transplants were started for poor, needy and deserving patients. On this occasion Dr. Shabbir Ahmed Bhutto, Dr. Naeem Akhtar Katpar and other doctors in the team successfully operated on the eyes of 2 poor and poor female patients Waziran Khatun and Mai Saddoran Khatun. On this occasion, the Head of Ophthalmology Department, Dr. Shabir Ahmed Bhutto, speaking to the media said that 3 months ago, the representatives of the social organization Vision Phar Education Foundation Pakistan met with the Vice Chancellor of Benazir Bhutto Medical University in Larkana, Prof. Dr. Nusrat Shah, in which they had poor, poor and deserving patients suffering from eye diseases in the ophthalmology department. He further said that a few days ago, two eye patients were operated on, while another two patients will be operated on in the next few days. They will be able to regain their eyesight and this first-ever corneal transplant operation in the history of Larkana will be a major milestone in the field of medicine. On the other hand, Chandka Medical College Larkana Principal Dr. Zamir Ahmad Soomro and Vice Principal Dr. Gulzar Ahmed Sheikh visited the eye department and got complete information about eye surgery.
