Khetran announces to provide personal land for Grid Station in Tomai area of Barkhan

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering (PHE), Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran has announced to provide personal land for setting up power Grid Station in Tomai area of Barkhan.
The initiative is aimed at stabilizing the power supply and development of Barkhan, mentioned in an official hand out issued here on Friday.
The Provincial Minister for PHE said that a letter would be written to Deputy Commissioner of the district in this regard.
With this, the issue of electricity supply would be resolved on permanent basis besides ensuring uninterrupted power supply in future, he said.
Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran on the occasion said that the initiative has been taken for development of Barkhan and in view of the facilitation of general public there. With this, the requirements of electricity of the area would be met, he hoped.
He said that the Grid Station to be established in Tomai area would not only meet the future needs of electricity in Barkhan but also of the adjoining areas. It would also help promote trade and industrial activities in the area, he believed.
He directed to the concerned authorities to ensure implementation on the project at the earliest so that the miseries of people may be removed.
