Security put on high alert on 1st Jumma of Ramadan in Quetta
QUETTA: Security was put on high alert on first Jumma of Ramadanul Mubarak in the provincial metropolis.
The Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Quetta, Muhammad Baloch told that around 1500 personnels of police and other law enforcement agencies have been deployed to avert any untoward incident in the metropolis.
In addition to this, snipers have been deployed at the important official buildings and installations. While on the other hand, patrolling and snap checking is also continued.
According to the SSP Operations, the SHOs and DSPs were directed to remain in their respective areas and keep on patrolling there.
Moreover, the quick response force of police was also deployed at five different places in Quetta city.
However, no untoward incident was reported.
