QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has categorically asserted that the state has authentic proofs that some elements are involved in the anti-state activities while using weapons, social media, artificial intelligence tools and other means.
Condemning the anti-state propaganda on the social media, the Chief Minister said that the negative aspects are focused through artificial intelligence on the social media while positive activities are pushed behind.
He said that today the rehabilitation of Science College is being done. The work was completed after the stringent efforts and hard work, but this positive news would be seen nowhere tonight, he regretfully pointed out. He added that anti Balochistan propaganda is brought before through artificial intelligence auto search engine and then negative mind making is done.
He said that the government is providing scholarships to youth of the province in the world famed universities of the world including Oxford and Harvard while enemy elements are busy in making them suicide bombers. He said that a female student of sixth semester of law was worn the suicide jacket, which is a matter of extreme concern. He said that the anti-state elements are disintegrating the youth.
He stressed that there is a need to put the youth on the right direction through education and asserted that some elements are making failed attempt towards the futile objectives. He said that violence can’t be the course of development of any country. He said that we acknowledge that there might be shortcomings in the governance, which can be corrected. But the state can’t be blamed under the garb of bad governance.
He urged the teachers to help the state.
He said that baseless propaganda is being done by making the unbalanced development of the province base while it is the issue of whole Balochistan and Pakistan.
Still the government is taking serious steps for providing opportunities to the youth for moving ahead.
Referring the efforts for establishing good governance, the Chief Minister said that he had made announcement in his maiden address as Chief Minister in the assembly flour that no one would be allowed to sell jobs. And you see, by the grace of Allah, it happened, and the recruitments were made on merit at the local level giving right to the deserving persons, he added.
He on the occasion also laid emphasis on the need of reforms in the departments.
He announced that all resources would be provided for putting the Government Postgraduate Science College Quetta on modern lines of education and Information Technology research.
The Chief Minister directed to the Secretary Communications to make the College exemplary institution of the province, and adding he assured that the government is ready to give blank cheque for the purpose.
The Chief Minister was speaking on the occasion of visit to the Government Science Postgraduate College here on Saturday.
The Chief Minister on the occasion announced special grant of Rs. 1 billion for the Postgraduate College and expressed resolve to take the institution under his direct supervision.
While highlighting importance of the historic educational institution, Chief Minister said that this college is a prominent educational hub for students of the province from where several famous personalities got education.
These personalities were included his father late Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti, who did F.Sc from that college, he added.
He said that we are indebted to this institution and this is time to pay back.
He recalled that it is his second visit to the college after the incident of fire there last year.
He expressed satisfaction over the pace of rehabilitation work. He said that the guidance and interest of the former Chief Justice High Court, Mr Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar in the work of rehabilitation of college, who had advised him to visit to the college after the incident.
He said that we are determined to make the science college center of modern knowledge.
He also directed to the concerned authorities to prepare a comprehensive master plan for the college.
Under the plan, playground, hostel, solarization and other basic facilities would be ensured in the college, he stressed.
