CM hands over cheque of Rs. 3.4 million for poor minority community of Khuzdar

Mir Sarfraz Bugti assures to provide all possible resources for educational development of students belonging to minorities

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti handed over the cheque of Rs. 3.4 million for the poor minority community of Khuzdar district.
The cheque was handed over to a delegation of minority leaders belonging to Khuzdar by Chief Minister during their meeting with him here at the CM’s secretariat on Tuesday.
During the course of meeting, the leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Agha Shakeel Durrani, Parliamentary Secretary for Minority Affairs, Sanjay Kumar, Senator Danesh Kumar and MPA Ravi Kumar.
The amount of the minority welfare fund would be distributed among the poor minority community families under supervision of the Deputy Commissioner.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that for the first time in history of Balochistan, 100 scholarships have been allocated for minorities of the province.
He assured that every possible resources would be provided for educational development of the students belonging to minorities in the province.
He also said that we are providing equal opportunities and rights to people of all nationalities and religions in the province.
