Mardan: March 14. Deputy Commissioner Mardan Dr. Azmatullah Wazir breaks fast with deserving people at Ramadan table,here on other day.
As per details Deputy Commissioner Mardan Dr. Azmatullah Wazir, in solidarity with the deserving people during the blessed month of Ramadan, attended the Ramadan table set up at College Chowk and sat down with orphans, destitute, homeless and travelers and broke fast.
Assistant Commissioner Mardan Kamran Khan and Assistant Commissioner UT Noman Hafeez were also present on the occasion. The aim of this initiative of the district administration is to ensure free food to the deserving and needy class with dignity and respect.
Deputy Commissioner Mardan said that Ramadan is the month of mercy, sacrifice and service, and we should actively participate in helping the needy. He also appealed to philanthropists and social organizations to contribute to this good deed and help the deserving people.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the arrangements for the Ramadan table and spent time with the deserving people. On this occasion, the citizens appreciated this initiative of the district administration and expressed hope for more such initiatives for the deserving people.
The district administration of Mardan is committed to the welfare of the people and such initiatives will be continued in the future as well.
