Provincial Ministers for Finance & Education maintain: Govt. taking solid measures for promotion of education in available resources

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Finance, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani and Minister for Education, Raheela Hameed Durrani have stated that the incumbent government is taking solid measures for promotion of education in the available resources.
They said that no one deny importance of science and technology as they are casting positive impacts on the lives of human beings. The revolutionary changes are also being brought in different sectors of life because of the science and technology.
The Provincial Ministers were addressing the meeting of Universities Finance Commission here on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary Finance, Imran Khan Zarkoon, Secretary Higher Education, Saleh Muhammad Baloch and all vice Chancellors of all public sector universities of the province.
Addressing the meeting, Shoaib Nosherwani said that our government attaches top priority to the promotion of education and as such it is fully aware of the financial issues of higher educational institutions. He said that it is utmost endeavour of the government to find out sustainable solution to the issues of higher education institutions, he added. He announced to form joint committee of the finance and education departments for the operational expenditures of all the universities. In addition to this, strategy would also be prepared for resolving the financial issues of the universities, he added.
