South Waziristan: March 14. Several people including the District Ameer of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) were injured in a remote-control bomb blast.
According to details, on Friday, there was a loud explosion in the Maulana Abdul Aziz Mosque in Azam Warsak Bazar area of South Waziristan. According to police, the explosives were planted near the mosque’s mihrab, which exploded shortly before prayers. In the blast, many people including Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) South Waziristan Lower District Amir Maulana Abdullah Nadeem were injured. The sound of the explosion was heard even in distant areas, spreading panic in the area. Immediately after the blast, rescue teams reached the spot and the injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, Vana. Police and law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and started a search operation. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. It should be noted that Maulana Abdullah Nadeem was injured earlier in the remote-control bomb attack at Kalusha.
