March 14. Strict security arrangements in view of possible threats in North Waziristan
Miran Shah: March 14. District Police Officer North Waziristan Rohanzib Khan visited the DPO office, Local Government Building, Rescue 1122 Office, CTD office and surrounding areas and reviewed the security arrangements.
Security has been tightened at all sensitive locations in view of the recent potential dangers. The police force has been equipped with modern weapons and night vision equipment, while the APC (armored vehicle) has also been deployed to deal with any emergency. In addition to the deployment of more personnel, safety measures have been made more effective.
DPO North Waziristan Rohanzib Khan directed the officers and men on duty to be fully vigilant and ensure the protection of the lives and property of the people. The police force is ready to deal with every potential threat at all times, he said.
