Good governance ensures transparency in affairs of institutions, holds authorities accountable before masses: Governor

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that good governance is the sustainable solution to the challenges that ensures improvement in performance of the institutions and promotes transparency in their performance besides holding the authorities accountable before the masses.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, the Governor said that the good governance is that real basis on which a fair and compatible society is established.
He said that we would not only ensure good governance but would also provide relief package to the people soon so that we are able to be successful in removing propaganda spread in the minds of youths besides improving the image of province at the national level.
The Governor said that for time being, eradication of corruption, bribery and nepotism is a difficult task, but it is not impossible at all.
He said that we can overcome many issues easily by ensuring effective monitoring mechanism.
He said that as we are moving ahead, we need to create compatibly among our institutions and ever changing world.
We have to prepare such comprehensive projects which may meet the socio-economic requirements, he stressed adding that it would help ensure provision of opportunities of livelihood and make it our province hub of peace.
The Governor urged the enlightened and moderate personalities to come forward and play their role for promotion of harmony and brotherhood besides respect to difference of opinion.
He also stressed that we need to work together for building such a society where every one has equal opportunities and access to the resources. In addition to this, we are determined to form a modest and developed society where everyone may progress and live peacefully, he maintained.
