Merit to help remove grievances of disgusted youth: Not fair to link deterioration in governance with state, asserts Chief Minister

Mir Sarfraz Bugti says Balochistan cabinet and masses have rejected terrorism; reaffirms process of reforms to remain continued in education & health sectors

 

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has categorically stated that the sustainable solution to the public issues is possible only through meritocracy and good governance. He said that the grievances of the disgusted youth would be removed only when there is merit.
The Chief Minister was speaking during the meeting of Provincial cabinet held here at the CM’s secretariat on Tuesday.
All the members of cabinet including ministers and advisors were in attendance. Also present in the meeting were the Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development, Hafiz Abdul Basit and other concerned high ups.
Addressing the cabinet, the Chief Minister said that the cabinet and people of Balochistan have rejected terrorism in the province.
Commending performance of the security forces, he said that the jawans of forces retaliated against the terrorism bravely.
He said that the quick action of the security forces saved us from the big disaster. He said that it is not fair to link the deterioration of governance with the state.
He assured that merit would be ensured and rights to be given to the deserving people.
Moreover, he added that the education and health are included in priorities of the government and reaffirmed that process of reforms would remain continued.
He also vowed to bring improvement in the two improvement sectors by making recruitment on merit.
