UoB closed; academic activities switched from in-person to virtual learning

QUETTA: The University of Balochistan and its all campuses were closed and the academic activities were switched from in-person to the virtual learning for an indefinite period.
The sources said that the University has been closed for in-person academic activities owing to the security concerns.
An official notification issued here by the UoB administration the other day mentioned that a decisive meeting was convened with the Deans and Sectional Heads / Directors of the Uob. Following thorough deliberations, it has been resolved that the UoB including all campuses will switch their academic activities from in-person to virtual learning with immediate effect and until further orders.
The faculty members were directed to utilize their institutional ID numbers to access the required digital resources, requiring assistance with online teaching, including access to MS teams and the Learning Management system (LMS), may contact the Directorate of Information Technology at dit@um.uob.edu.pk for UM account activation and IT-related support.
However, the administrative staff would report to their offices as usual.
