Hafiz Hussain Ahmed laidto rest; CM & otherscondole death
QUETTA: The veteran politician and senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Hafiz Hussain Ahmed was laid to rest in a local graveyard here on Thursday.
Hafiz Hussain Ahmed died at 74 on Wednesday night. A large number of people belonging to different walks of life including provincial Ameer of JUI, Maulana Abdul Wasey, Provincial Minister, Mir Asim Kurd, politicians, religious and social personalities and others participated in the funeral prayer and burial.
Earlier, funeral prayer was offered at the Jamia Mutlaul Uloom, Brewrey road.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed deep grief and sorrow over death of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed.
In a condolence message issued here, Chief Minister described his death as an irreparable loss. Sarfraz Bugti said that Hafiz Hussain Ahmed was not only an acclaimed religious scholar but also a distinguished politician of the country.
The Chief Minister said that Hafiz Hussain Ahmed would always be remembered for his manners and truthfulness.
He prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul into Its eternal peace and give enough patience and strength to the bereaved family bear the loss of his death.
