Some elements attempting to do politics on bodies of terrorists: No immunity to be given to hardcore terrorists, to be dealt with strictly, asserts Chief Minister
QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has asserted that no immunity would be given to the hardcore terrorists, and they would be dealt with strictly in accordance with law. The Chief Minister said that all available resources are being mobilized for establishing durable peace in the province.
He was addressing the high achievement awards ceremony in Quetta on Sunday.
The acting Governor Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, Commander Balochistan Corps, Lieutenant General Rahat Nasim Ahmed Khan, provincial ministers, parliamentarians, Inspector General of police, Moazzam Jah Ansari, dignitaries from different walks of life participated in the event.
The Chief Minister and Commander Balochistan Corpse distributed awards and commendation certificates among over 50 persons on remarkable performance in different sectors.
The Chief Minister congratulated the achievers of high-performance awards acknowledging their invaluable services in their respective fields.
He vowed that similar measures would remain continued for encouragement of the skilled and talented people. He thanked Pak Army and said that it is conferring awards to the people in recognition of their services.
He said that the government has decided not to let anyone to block the highway and roads now.
He said that the provincial government is standing by the oppressed people and would not tolerate any blackmailing whatsoever.
He mentioned that the Supreme Court has also issued clear orders for opening the highways and roads.
The government would implement these orders in true letter and spirit.
Referring the terrorists attack on Jaffar Express, the Chief Minister said that they (terrorists) targeted the innocent and armless passengers. However, they were eliminated as a result of the timely action of the security forces, he added.
He expressed sorrow over that some elements are trying to do politics on the dead bodies of terrorists. But the government would not let succeed these elements at all, he added. He said that the government has decided to take the war against terrorists to the logical end and ensure protection of public anyway.
