Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq attended the funeral prayers of Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir’s mother held at the Race Course Ground in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi(PID): Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq attended the funeral prayers of Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir’s mother held at the Racecourse Ground in Rawalpindi, on Wednesday.

Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir personally led the funeral prayers for his mother, which were attended by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, AJK premier, federal ministers, chief ministers, civil and military officials, and others.

On the occasion, the prime minister Haq expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Army Chief and prayed to Allah the almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and elevate her status in jannatul firdous.
