Islamabad. Apr. 07 Press Release.The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted a series of operations across various cities in Pakistan, resulting in the arrest of 9 suspects and the seizure of 2670 kg of narcotics worth over PKR 649.6 million.
Key Operations
– Islamabad International Airport: 6.570 kg of suspicious substance seized from a woman’s luggage bound for Denmark.
– Peshawar: 1.010 kg of ice seized from a courier package destined for Vehari.
– Balochistan: 2616.4 kg of opium seized in the Nokundi and Chagai areas.
– Islamabad: 24 kg of hashish seized from a truck on the Chakri Expressway, with one suspect arrested.
– Swabi: 15.6 kg of hashish and 2.4 kg of opium seized from a vehicle near the Colonel Sher Khan Interchange, with two suspects arrested.
– Sialkot: 2 kg of heroin seized from two motorcycle riders near China Chowk.
– Gujranwala: 1.8 kg of hashish seized from a woman at a checkpoint.
– Lahore: 480 grams of heroin seized from a motorcycle rider, including a woman, near the Moghalpura Underpass.
