Incumbent Government determined to create conducive environment for traders and investors, says Jaffar Khan Mandokhail
QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that no doubt, the fate of whole Pakistan can be garnished with the precious minerals found in Balochistan.
The Governor stressed that it is necessary to utilize these minerals for the welfare of people.
He said that we can increase the value of our previous natural resources and minerals by establishing the processing plants of different minerals in Balochistan, and thus ensure our economic development.
He said that the issues of severe poverty, sense of deprivation and unemployment can be resolved from the province by giving the mining sector status of industry at the federal level.
The Governor termed the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2025 being held in Islamabad as welcoming for diverting the attention of investors from all over the world towards investment in Pakistan, strengthening the country’s economic system and achieving other economic goals.
He said that our national investors can also play key role in development of minerals in Balochistan.
The Governor regretfully pointed out that unfortunately processing plants were not established in the province, as a result of which, we are deprived of the value added benefits of the processing and manufacturing today.
He said that the present government is determined to create such a conducive environment for the traders and investors in which they would have access to the trade markets within the country and abroad.
He also said that there’s no dearth of world fame traders in Balochistan, what’s needed is to provide them all the necessary facilities and opportunities.
