Crackdown against illegal Afghan immigrants as 40 arrested in Quetta

 

QUETTA: The crackdown is continued against the illegal Afghan immigrants in the provincial metropolis as in different other parts of the country including Balochistan province.
According to the official sources, some 40 illegal immigrants were arrested from sub-divisoin Kuchlak.
The action was taken under supervision of Assistant Commissioner Kuchlak, Naimatullah.
The official sources said that a passenger bus carrying Afghan immigrants was intercepted in Kuchlak area. After preliminary inquiry, some 40 illegal immigrants were taken into custody, sources informed.
After detention, the illegal immigrants were shifted to DC office Quetta where their documents were scrutinized.
After scrutiny of their documents, 12 out of 40 immigrants were released. However, it was decided to deport remaining 28 illegal immigrants.
According to the administration, the crackdown would remain continued against the illegal immigrants in Quetta, in line with the directives of the government.
