Steps being taken to restore trust of public on institutions: Govt. determined to find sustainable solution to challenges faced by masses, says Governor

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that we are taking concrete steps for restoring trust of people on the national institutions.
He said that we would ensure good governance and new recruitments on merit.
However, it is sorely needed to strengthen the mechanism of check and balance in order to achieve these targets.
The Governor was speaking to different delegations at the Governor’s House on Tuesday.
The Governor maintained that the present government is also determined to ensure balanced development and provide basic facilities to the public.
He said that provision of basic facilities to the people at their doorstep is included in our priorities. He said that it is no less than a challenge to ensure provision of basic amenities of life to the least but scattered population of the province.
He noted with concern that the local people are forced to migrate to the cities because of the poverty, backwardness and lack of the basic facilities in the remote areas of province.
Therefore, it is necessary for us to prepare a comprehensive strategy for the short- and long-term projects, adding he stressed.
