GoB appreciates performance of DC Khuzdar, police and levies on ending closure of highway

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan expressed satisfaction over remarkable performance of the Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, Police, Levies and district officers about ending closure of the national highway.

According to an official hand out issued here by the provincial government, the Deputy Commissioner as well as jawans of police and levies put an end to the blockade of national highway in Khuzdar district.

It was mentioned that the public hardships came an end with opening of the national highway. The provincial government commended performance of the Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, police and levies force in this regard.

It was also stressed that prompt measures are unavoidable by the district administration for restoration of peace and national highways in the province.

It may be mentioned here that the national highway was blocked by some protestors in Khuzdar area couple of days back. The flow of traffic was suspended in the meantime.

The district administration led by Deputy Commissioner took lead and played key role in its opening thus restoring traffic there.
