Elderly Widow Protests Against Son-in-law, Daughter, and Son Over Alleged Home Seizure and Abuse

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) An elderly widow from the Ahmed Abad area of Tando Adam, Allah Rakhi, wife of (late) Pervez Kharl, staged a protest at the Tando Adam Press Club against her son-in-law, daughter, and son, accusing them of forcibly evicting her from her home and subjecting her to abuse.

Speaking to the media, Allah Rakhi said she is a poor, widowed, and orphaned woman who built her house through years of struggle, begging, and with the help of well-wishers. She said the house was her only shelter, where she had been living peacefully until recently.

She alleged that her son-in-law Hakim Kaheri, with the support of her daughter Ameer Bano and son Arsalan Haider, forcibly took control of her house and threw her out. According to her, they are now trying to seize full possession of the property.

Now homeless and distressed, Allah Rakhi appealed to the Sindh government, district administration, and law enforcement authorities to take immediate action, investigate the matter, and help her reclaim her home. She further stated that she is also facing pressure and threats to remain silent.

The widow demanded justice and protection from those she says are trying to deprive her of her rightful property.
