Karachi: The Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) is proud to announce the second edition of its flagship initiative, the Best of Entrepreneurship (BOE) Asia series, set to take place on May 10, 2025, at the Lahore Expo Center. Organized in collaboration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), the event will bring together trade delegations, tech innovators, industry associations, chambers of commerce, and international institutions from ten Muslim countries.
The event will feature 50 international delegates alongside a strong presence of local participants, highlighting the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem of the region. A key focus of this edition is women entrepreneurship, with dedicated sessions and showcases to promote their growing contribution to economic development.
Centered around the theme “Techpreneurship: Strategy, Innovation & Leadership,” the series will explore how emerging technologies are shaping entrepreneurship and driving inclusive economic growth across Asia.
Zubair Tufail, former President of FPCCI, remarked, “This initiative will not only spotlight new entrepreneurs in Pakistan but also create bridges with innovators across the Islamic world. We must adopt a more flexible and encouraging approach to empower our youth.”
Alia Jaffer, Director of International Relations at ICCD, added, “This platform will convene some of the most forward-thinking minds in tech, sparking collaboration, innovation, and regional integration.”
The event is expected to host around 200 delegates and will include a technology exhibition, interactive panel discussions, and hands-on workshops. These activities aim to demonstrate the transformative role of technology in building a resilient and interconnected economic future for the Muslim world.
